A retreat for us Wharton Women
Let’s take this fire and do something beautiful with it. Five days and six nights in Las Terrenas, Dominican Republic, just for us.
Our recent conversations reignited the idea of a retreat for us. How amazing would it be if we Wharton Women used all our MBA, work and life experiences, plustapped into the wisdom and power that is within us?
Earlier this year I held a retreat designed to help women get what they need. For some that meant slowing down. For others, getting clear, rediscovering their voice or directing their energy.
The idea is simple: take that fire and do something with it.
Slow down.
Get clear.
Rediscover your voice.
Direct your energy.
Get out of the group chat and into real life, to connect, heal and come back into our bodies, together.

Away from everyday life, surrounded by the elements of nature.
A schedule that balances intentional, embodied experiences with plenty of spaciousness.
Nourishing food from a private chef, colorful juices and elixirs.
Beach walks, massages, and sharing stories by firelight.
Each day carries an element of nature, and each one helps us with something different.
Let the wind take what has gone stale: the obligations, the old stories, the version of you that no longer fits.
Rinse off the roles and come back to yourself, and to what actually matters.
Turn toward the fire, whether it shows up as anger, longing or ambition, and ask what it has been trying to tell you.
Turn clarity into commitment, and name the steps you’ll take once you’re back in real life.
On the northern coast of the Samaná peninsula, the jungle runs right down to the sea. You can feel all four elements at once: the trade winds, the warm water, the full strength of the sun, the earth under bare feet.
We’ll stay together at Casa Redonda, a stunning villa where each of us has a private room and bathroom, with a private chef preparing our meals.

For twenty-five years, Adrienne has sat on the other side of the table from leaders at decisive moments. She has led change, transformation and talent work at some of the world’s largest companies, and placed CHROs and HR leaders in PE-backed companies, Fortune 500s and growth-stage businesses.
She founded Anso Partners on a simple belief: businesses thrive when their people do. The same is true for the women who lead them.

I spent years living in my head: the spreadsheet, the outcome, the competition. Those skills served me well, but I’d lost touch with the intuitive, receptive side of myself. Coming back to it changed everything.
2027 isn’t that far away, and I truly believe we need to take care of women right now, starting with ourselves.
